Job Overview

The Landscape Operations Supervisor is accountable for overseeing the daily activities of field operations related to the Maintenance Division. This role involves close collaboration with assigned teams, site leaders, and company management to uphold the highest standards of property upkeep and foster effective communication with property managers and owners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and participate in on-site discussions with property managers and owners to address maintenance needs, repairs, installations, and other service requests.
  • Prepare and present monthly management reports to track performance and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with office personnel, site leaders, and contractors to manage repairs, maintenance, and urgent situations, including the development of specifications, pricing, and work order management.
  • Assist property managers and owners in formulating annual maintenance budgets upon request.
  • Ensure regular inspections of properties are conducted in accordance with company standards and client contracts.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to inquiries and complaints from property managers and owners via written communication or phone.
  • Maintain knowledge of all applicable federal, state, and local regulations governing property maintenance and safety practices.
  • Develop and implement necessary training programs, tools, and safety protocols for field staff.
  • Review and authorize all invoices for payment by property owners, coordinating with the Administration & Finance Department for collection.
  • Provide necessary information and support to other departments within the company as needed.
  • Advise and collaborate on additional projects such as landscape upgrades and special initiatives outside of contracted services, ensuring alignment with sales personnel before committing resources.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with individuals and groups.
  • Proficient in basic office functions, including letter composition, organization, planning, and typing, with a solid understanding of Microsoft WORD and EXCEL.
  • Familiarity with regulations related to the green industry and landscape maintenance standards.
  • Demonstrated supervisory and administrative experience relevant to the role.
  • Understanding of fundamental financial reporting and meeting protocols.
  • A valid driver's license is essential.
  • Experience in crew and account management is required.
