Jax Spine & Pain Centers is seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and maintaining continuity of care through accurate and thorough documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patient interactions in the clinical setting by reviewing charts, schedules, and medical records.
  • Generate appropriate forms for patient education, informed consent, and documentation of care.
  • Obtain medical records, lab results, and diagnostic study results as indicated.
  • Ensure a therapeutic and sanitary environment by inspecting the physical care environment and maintaining fully stocked medical supplies and functional equipment.
  • Communicate with internal and external resources to procure necessary supplies and information.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and personnel to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or GED required.
  • One or more years of experience as a medical assistant, CMA preferred.
  • Procedure Room Tech experience preferred.
  • Able to measure and record vital signs, manually and electronically.
  • Pain management office experience a plus.
  • Basic computer knowledge required.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Able to multi-task efficiently and effectively in busy and/or stressful situations.
  • Able to read, analyze, interpret, and write medical records and documentation.
  • Able to record patient information, including a working knowledge of medical terminology.
