Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration, operation, and maintenance of all HVAC systems, refrigeration systems, air handling systems, Central Plant equipment, and various other electro-mechanical systems located throughout our medical facilities.

Responsibilities:
* Assist the Director of Plant Operations in planning, organizing, and controlling activities of the HVAC Shop.
* Maintain the flow and quality of work to ensure timely completion of assigned workload.
* Review and evaluate existing methods, systems, programs, practices, and procedures; develop and recommend changes to the Director.
* Prepare and maintain department records in compliance with The Joint Commission, Department of Health Standards, local authorities, and other regulatory agencies.
* Coordinate construction and renovation programs for the facility.
* Monitor and inspect employee work performance to ensure performance standards are maintained through the use of the computerized maintenance management system.
* Orient and train new employees, providing continuing guidance and on-the-job training to all assigned personnel.
* Participate in the Quality Control Program of the department.
* Write specifications for corrective maintenance and minor construction and renovation projects.

Qualifications:
* Five years of work experience, including advanced courses related to management skills and engineering and the functions of the department.
* Ability to read, comprehend, and transmit complicated detailed instructions in writing and verbally.
* Basic computer skills are required.
* Previous HVAC experience, preferably in a healthcare setting, is essential.
