Fujitsu is seeking a highly skilled Product Life Cycle Management Specialist to join our SaaS Supply Chain Management Practice. As a key member of our team, you will provide thought leadership and consultation throughout the life cycle of a PLM implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bridge Engineer: Collaborate with system integrators and solution providers to manage the initial system introduction phase, working closely with customers in the plant/customer sites and delivering requirements to delivery teams in other time zones.
  • PLM Technical Expertise: Possess basic technical knowledge of PLM and preferably have experience introducing PLM systems to Japanese customers.
  • System Support: Support the introduction of Aras and iCAD systems with third-party local engineers and Fujitsu Japanese engineers, including initial training, issue management, and familiarization with the systems onsite.
  • Team Collaboration: Demonstrate experience working with multiple teams across different IT service vendors, business users from plants/supply chain, and IT teams.
  • Business Requirements: Connect business requirements with the functional capabilities of the PLM solution and create functional specifications.
  • Solution Design: Offer suggestions and recommendations during solution design and execution phase from a functional perspective to ensure business intent is understood by the project team.
  • Project Management: Serve as the bridge/translator between the business team and technical resources during development and implementation to ensure that requirements and dependencies are well understood.
  • Engagement and Risk Management: Assist in engagement and project management by identifying risks, opportunities, and partnering with project and account management teams to minimize risks and maximize benefits.
  • Quality Assurance: Assist in supporting overall QA/testing efforts and supporting business with User Acceptance testing.
Requirements:
  • Language Skills: Fluent in Japanese and English (business level).
  • PLM Experience: Prior experience with PLM or related project implementations.
  • IT Experience: Over years of IT experience implementing similar solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Consulting Experience: Work experience with a professional consulting organization (e.g., Big 4 consulting) a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or closely related field or equivalent experience.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment.
