We are seeking an experienced Mission Operations Lead to join our team at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). As a key member of our team, you will oversee and coordinate mission-based operations to support CISA's critical cybersecurity and infrastructure security objectives.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Coaching and working in a team to select and apply appropriate problem-solving methods and techniques
  • Identifying, distributing, and balancing workload and tasks among employees in accordance with established workflows and skill levels
  • Training or arranging for training of team members in methods and techniques of team building and working in teams to accomplish tasks
  • Monitoring and reporting on the status and progress of work, checking on work in progress and reviewing completed work to ensure that instructions on work priorities, methods, deadlines and quality of work have been met
  • Supporting program administration, process management, and event-support needs in high-visibility areas, such as customer service, student employment, recruiting events
  • Developing and updating policies, standard operating procedures (SOP's), and guidance memorandums, outlining all actions plans for executing operational support
  • Conducting human capital or workforce-related research projects, as directed
  • Coordinating aligned human resources position functions including budget planning

Requirements

  • At least ten years / senior level experience providing daily mission operations to ensure CISA has centralized customer services, resources and advocates for day-to-day workforce needs; training requests and approvals, and the guidance and resources needed to meet performance management requirements
  • Proficiency in data analysis to provide strategic advice and technical guidance
  • Possess excellent strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to obtain/maintain DHS Suitability
