**WASH Operations Director Needed**

Action Against Hunger USA is seeking an experienced WASH Operations Director to lead our water, sanitation, and hygiene operations in humanitarian contexts. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the design and implementation of innovative solutions to address the complex challenges facing communities affected by crisis.

We require a highly skilled professional with a master's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as international development, WASH-related studies, governance, or private sector development. At least 10 years of experience in research, technical expertise in humanitarian response, and project management of overall alignment, strategy, and execution across all partners and sub-partners are essential.

The successful candidate will have significant leadership experience, with a minimum of five years of demonstrated leadership and senior managerial experience overseeing a team of cross-cutting expertise in support staff and/or consultants. Familiarity with all steps of project cycle management and USAID compliance requirements for cooperative agreements is also necessary.

**Estimated Salary: $125,000 - $155,000 per year**

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies for water supply and sanitation services in emergency and post-crisis recovery contexts.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify best practices and areas for improvement in WASH operations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and manage budgets, monitoring plans, and progress reports.
  • Promote organizational learning and capacity-building initiatives to enhance WASH operations and advocacy efforts.
