Clinical Pharmacotherapy Specialist

Estimated salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacotherapy Specialist to join our team at the Cleveland Clinic. In this role, you will coordinate and provide pharmaceutical care to patients in an assigned clinical unit, working closely with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform pharmacotherapeutic monitoring and provision of pharmaceutical care to patients in a routine and continuous manner.
  • Provide general and patient-specific drug information to patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Interact regularly with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal pharmaceutical care to patients.
  • Maintain expertise in areas of practice through continual learning, journal review, and other educational activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of a post-graduate residency or fellowship training required.
  • Board Certification preferred.
  • Current State licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible for reciprocation in current State within 90 days of hire.

Working Conditions:

  • This position often includes prolonged standing and walking, approximately 75% of shift.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to perform computer and dispensing functions of the job; ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
