Job Summary

Legends is a leading provider of premium experiences in the sports and entertainment industry. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Merchandise Intern. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the retail and merchandising industry, working with a dynamic team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in receiving and processing merchandise inventory
  • Conduct inventory processes and maintain accurate records
  • Organize and distribute merchandise in The Shop
  • Assist with set-up and visual displays within The Shop
  • Work with national vendor representatives to move products into the store
  • Design storefront layout and displays to enhance visual appeal and attract customers
  • Work with visuals consultant and Legends staff to create and apply visuals throughout the Shops
  • Assist in the final preparations of the merchandise facilities
  • Create signage; Organize the point-of-sale stations; Train volunteers

Event Week Responsibilities

  • Assist our full-time merchandise staff in running The Shop throughout the event week
  • Manage temporary staff in various areas of the merchandise operation
  • Coordinate with vendors on product related tasks and questions
  • Resolving customer service issues and inquiring on customer satisfaction
  • Implement design changes to store layout to improve customer flow

Post-Tournament Week Responsibilities

  • Assist with the breakdown of the merchandise operations
  • Assist with any post-event sales and load out process

Working Conditions

This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work in a team setting and adapt to changing circumstances. The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, and stooping. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
