POSITION OVERVIEW:

This role will immerse you in a variety of responsibilities, including inventory management and operational support. You will collaborate with Legends personnel and leading merchandise manufacturers, gaining invaluable insights into the operations of a major sporting event.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the reception of merchandise for retail operations.
  • Manage product cartons and inventory processes.
  • Organize and distribute merchandise effectively.
  • Support the setup and visual merchandising within retail spaces.
  • Collaborate with vendor representatives to facilitate product movement.
  • Design and enhance storefront layouts to attract customers.
  • Work with visual consultants to implement appealing displays.
  • Prepare merchandise facilities for operational readiness.
  • Create signage and organize point-of-sale stations.
  • Train and oversee volunteers.

EVENT OPERATIONS:

  • Support the merchandise team in managing retail operations during event week.
  • Oversee temporary staff in various operational areas.
  • Coordinate with vendors on product-related inquiries.
  • Address customer service issues and ensure satisfaction.
  • Implement layout changes to improve customer flow.

POST-EVENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in dismantling merchandise operations.
  • Support post-event sales and inventory load-out processes.

COMPENSATION:

  • Hourly pay with overtime opportunities.
  • Housing accommodations provided.
  • Uniforms supplied for event days.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Location: On-site

The physical demands of this role require the ability to sit, talk, hear, and handle controls. Frequent standing, walking, and reaching are necessary. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
