The successful candidate will have a strong background in psychiatric nursing and be able to demonstrate excellent clinical skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to mental health staff
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve patient-centered care
- Conduct regular audits and quality improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Participate in education and training programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing required or equivalent combination of education and experience in psychiatric nursing management
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a psychiatric health-care facility
- Currently licensed to practice by the Georgia Board of Nursing
- Thorough knowledge of The JOINT COMMISSION, CMS, OSHA requirements, and state and federal regulatory requirements
