Job Title: Mental Health Nursing Supervisor
Job Summary:
Ridgeview Institute Smyrna is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Mental Health Supervisor for a nursing job in Smyrna, Georgia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring coordinated delivery of patient care in accordance with established standards of care, mental health practice, and hospital policy, goals, and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in contributing to the hospital's philosophy, objectives, educational, and Performance Improvement efforts.
- Provide supervision to staff assigned to his/her shift.
- Ensure coordinated delivery of patient care in accordance with established standards of care, mental health practice, and hospital policy, goals, and objectives.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing required or equivalent combination of education and experience in psychiatric nursing management.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a psychiatric health-care facility.
- Currently licensed to practice by the Georgia Board of Nursing.
- Thorough knowledge of The JOINT COMMISSION, CMS, OSHA requirements, and state and federal regulatory requirements.
