Job Title: Production Line Sorter Specialist


About the Job:


We are seeking a skilled Production Line Sorter Specialist to join our dynamic team at Medrano Produce, LLC. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient sorting and grading of products, adhering to strict quality and safety standards.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Product Sorting and Grading: Sort products according to various factors such as color, specifications, length, width, appearance, feel, smell, quality, and weight.
  • Product Inspection: Conduct quality inspections of materials, ensuring that products meet company and industry standards.
  • Container Management: Place and grade products in containers according to specifications and attach appropriate labels and tags when necessary.
  • Facility Maintenance: Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
  • Health and Safety: Enforce and actively participate in general housekeeping duties, report any noncompliance issues or unsafe situations/equipment to the supervisor immediately, and follow company Good Manufacturing Practices.


Requirements and Qualifications:




  • Physical Demands: The ability to walk, sit, stand, use hands and arms, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.
  • Working Conditions: Ability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays, in a fast-paced environment with various noise levels, heat, cold, and moving parts.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, proficiency in math, English, reading, and writing, and the ability to actively listen and identify problems, find solutions, and make sound decisions.
  • Teamwork and Flexibility: Ability to work well with various personalities, participate in a professional manner to accomplish business goals, and adapt positively to changes in direction or assignment.


Compensation and Benefits:



We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as various benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
