GENERAL FUNCTION
The primary objective of the Retail Operations Leader is to serve as a guiding force within the LensCrafters framework. This role is pivotal in achieving key performance metrics by embodying the Brand Story and ensuring the seamless execution of customer interactions.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Guarantee that the LensCrafters team delivers unparalleled Customer Service.
- Facilitate training and mentorship for the team utilizing Company-provided resources.
- Evaluate performance reports to devise and implement strategies aimed at enhancing store KPIs, including:
- NPS - Net Promoter Score; % Sales to Plan; Customer Count; Complete Pair; Labor; Training Saturation; Exam Growth; among others.
- Recruit and onboard a highly motivated team to ensure optimal staffing and scheduling.
- Collaborate with the Doctor of Optometry to enhance the customer and patient experience while driving store KPIs.
- Take pride in the store's presentation and guide the team in executing all operational, inventory, and visual tasks according to established guidelines to ensure the best experience for customers and patients.
- Ensure the consistent implementation and maintenance of all Company-approved safety protocols to foster a safe and enjoyable work environment.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 4+ years of management or supervisory experience.
- Thorough understanding of operations, processes, and business implications.
- Strong skills in influencing and negotiation.
- Proficient in team building and management.
- Knowledge of current optical theory and merchandise.
- Effective communication and listening skills.
- Strong basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Sales proficiency.
- Familiarity with cash registers, computers, and calculators.
- Ability to manage time effectively under tight deadlines.
- College degree or equivalent.
- State licensure (if applicable) and/or ABO Certification in non-licensed states.
- LensCrafters Final Inspector Certification.
- LensCrafters Quality, Fitting, and Adjusting Program.
- Previous experience in customer service and retail.
- Familiarity with current store merchandise.
- High level of business acumen, including detailed knowledge of LC Dashboard.
