As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations related to electrical and instrumentation tasks, ensuring alignment with project objectives and the quality standards set forth by Cianbro and our clients.
- Comprehend and adhere to the overall project timeline and financial plan.
- Collaborate closely with project management on a daily basis to convey production targets and quality benchmarks, address any emerging issues (including personnel, methods, materials, or equipment), and propose solutions to facilitate the achievement of project objectives.
- Engage in the planning of methods and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of crew work hours and installed quantities. Monitor crew efficiency and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Evaluate production outcomes and determine necessary corrective measures when needed.
- In instances of rework, assist the team in learning from errors and accurately document associated costs.
- Anticipate requirements for equipment, materials, or workforce; ensure that all resources for crew activities are accessible when necessary.
- Proactively seek solutions to unique requests or challenges encountered during work.
- Utilize Activity Planning to effectively organize and communicate specific work details; approve all plans.
- Understand the cost code structure relevant to your work activities.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical and instrumentation operations.
- A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a heavy industrial setting.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively and promptly.
- Possession of electrical licensing as per state regulations.
