STERIS is a leading global provider of products and services that support patient care with an emphasis on infection prevention. We are seeking an Assemblage Specialist to join our team in Montgomery, AL.

The Assemblage Specialist will be responsible for maintaining production of Casework products to meet build schedule requirements. This includes intermediate blueprint reading, ability to assemble and knowledge of the functions of major component parts and sub-assemblies within an assigned area, basic knowledge of electrical schematics, and ability to maintain published productivity standards on moderately challenging assemblies.

• Read and interpret blueprints to assemble Casework products
• Assemble and test Casework products to ensure quality and accuracy
• Use and understand torque wrenches and test equipment to troubleshoot and maintain high quality standards
• Apply 5S tools, including the T-card system, to maintain safe work areas and practice safe work habits
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers to ensure smooth production and meet business requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Ability to perform basic Shop Floor Control applications
• AS400 preferred but not required
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers
• Ability to understand and follow work instructions, both written and oral
