Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Witch Enterprises. As a key member of our Utility Construction and Concrete Cutting Company, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using automotive diagnostic tools.
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
  • Repair and replace faulty components, such as brakes, transmissions, and engines.
  • Weld and fabricate metal parts as needed.
  • Assemble and disassemble machinery and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

  • Strong mechanical knowledge and experience working with a variety of vehicles and industrial equipment.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Experience with electrical systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with construction/diesel equipment is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • OSHA 10 certification required.
  • DOT physical required.

Pay and Benefits:

  • Hourly pay with opportunities for overtime
