Role Overview:
The Accounts Receivable Analyst is responsible for managing the medical collections process efficiently and effectively. This role involves working closely with healthcare providers to ensure timely payment and resolution of outstanding accounts.
Compensation:
$20-24/hour
Work Schedule:
40 hours/week, 7:30am-4:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough medical collections activities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
2. Utilize investigative skills to analyze and resolve discrepancies in accounts.
3. Maintain accurate records and generate reports on collection activities.
4. Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information for collections.
5. Establish and manage payment plans for clients as needed.
6. Perform collection calls to follow up on outstanding payments.
7. Draft remittances and correspondence related to collections.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in medical collections.
- At least 3 years of clerical or investigative experience in a related field.
- Strong understanding of collections processes and legal aspects.
- Proven ability to manage records and reports efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction.
- Experience in setting up payment arrangements and making collection calls.
