We are seeking a skilled Marine Diesel Technician to join our team at City Experiences' Hornblower Shipyard operation in Bridgeport, CT.

About the Opportunity

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in diesel engine maintenance and repair. As a Marine Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on diesel engines and other machinery found on passenger vessels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on diesel engines, generators, and other equipment
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues on marine vessels
  • Work with OEM service technicians to ensure high-quality repairs
  • Conduct sea trials and inspect installed machinery and equipment
  • Document maintenance and repair work through our web-based maintenance program
  • Participate in computer-based monitoring and input of maintenance tasks and work hours
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Must have experience working in the marine or construction field
  • Must have training and experience in diesel engine maintenance and repair
  • Basic computer skills and ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites
