Job Description:
Affinius Capital is on the lookout for Analysts to become part of its equity investment division located in New York. The investment team is responsible for overseeing investments related to Affinius Capital's equity investment vehicles, including its opportunistic equity and other funds. The selected investment professional will engage in all facets of underwriting, due diligence, and the finalization of new investments, in addition to executing business plans for assets within Affinius Capital's existing investment portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing and underwriting potential investment opportunities for Affinius Capital's equity funds.
- Finalizing transactions across various property types.
- Creating financial analyses and investment committee reports that outline investment rationale, execution risks, and expected returns.
- Conducting acquisition due diligence, which includes market analysis and coordination with external service providers.
- Supporting the execution of business plans, which encompasses leasing, financing, disposition, and ongoing portfolio monitoring.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years of experience in investment banking, real estate private equity, real estate finance, brokerage, or advisory services.
- A strong work ethic and enthusiasm for real estate.
- Advanced skills in financial analysis and modeling.
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and capability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
- A collaborative team player.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with Argus Enterprise is preferred but not mandatory.
- Willingness to work on-site full-time.
- Qualifications may lead to placement in different job titles.
As mandated by the New York City Human Rights Law (NYCHRL), Affinius Capital is providing a good faith estimate for this role, with a starting annual base salary range of $100,000. The base salary is just one component of the overall compensation package. Employees may also qualify for Affinius Capital's discretionary Annual Bonus program and other employee benefits, subject to specific terms and eligibility criteria.
