Position Overview
The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless experience for guests during overnight hours while managing essential financial tasks. This position involves a combination of guest interaction and meticulous bookkeeping duties.
Key Responsibilities
To perform effectively in this role, the following tasks are essential:
- Warmly greet and assist guests upon arrival.
- Allocate rooms and distribute keys efficiently.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism.
- Manage reservation processes accurately.
- Conduct account reconciliations with precision.
- Ensure the cash drawer is balanced and receipts are logged correctly.
- Prepare and disseminate closing and morning shift reports to relevant departments.
- Compile reports for the Accounting department.
- Generate and share the Daily Operating Summary.
- Strive to provide exceptional service to all guests, aiming to exceed their expectations.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
- Participate in weekly Aloha Culture Meetings.

Work Environment
This role is situated within a hotel environment, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers and telephones.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands of this position include:
- Standing for over two-thirds of the time.
- Walking for over two-thirds of the time.
- Occasional sitting for less than one-third of the time.
- Frequent use of hands for handling and feeling.
- Reaching with arms and hands regularly.
- Climbing or balancing as needed.
- Stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling occasionally.
- Talking and hearing consistently.
- Lifting items weighing between 5 to 50 pounds regularly.
Position Type
This is a part-time position requiring flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Education and Experience
Applicants should possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience.
