Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Utility Construction Foreman to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction and repair of critical stormwater infrastructure, operating advanced construction equipment, and traveling to various project sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Construct and Repair Stormwater Infrastructure: Work on essential underground utilities, concrete structures, and stormwater basins to ensure communities are safe and resilient.
  • Operate Advanced Construction Equipment: Utilize a range of tools, from hand-held and power tools to heavy machinery like skid loaders, excavators, and dozers, showcasing your technical expertise.
  • Travel and Explore: Embrace the opportunity to travel during the week, exploring new locations while making a significant impact on various projects.
  • Innovate and Learn: Master pioneering construction techniques and regulatory compliance strategies, positioning yourself as a leader in the industry.
  • Contribute to Project Success: Document field observations to aid in project success and drive continuous improvement, ensuring our projects are always top-notch.
  • Prioritize Safety: Uphold the highest safety standards on every project, safeguarding yourself and your team at all times.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3 to 4 years of experience in pouring and finishing concrete, heavy equipment operation, and wet utilities (pipe laying and repairs for stormwater, water, sewer, and wastewater).
  • Travel: Ability to travel Monday through Friday, with travel required 85% of the time.
  • Driving: Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
  • Safety/Compliance: Comprehensive understanding of OSHA safety practices and comfortable using pickups and equipment trailers while following DOT requirements.
  • Working Foreman: Prior experience leading a crew.
