Job Description

Arizona State University is seeking a highly skilled Electronics Design Manager to join the Southwest Advanced Prototyping (SWAP) Hub team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the specification, architecture, and development of our intellectual property library in coordination with faculty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead circuit design and layout reviews with designers
  • Help train project performers for layout and tapeout of digital, analog, and RF circuits
  • Supervise tapeout activities at the SWAP Hub
  • Develop and manage technical roadmaps that address customer requirements
  • Develop and manage Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tool flows
  • Develop unit- and system-level test plans covering a variety of operating modes and conditions
  • Develop and maintain training materials on IP blocks, including designs, tapeout and post-silicon validation procedures
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and ten years of engineering or related experience
  • Or, any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved
