Job Title: Associate Yield Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Yield Engineer to join our team at Renesas Electronics. As a key member of our Operations Excellence Department, you will play a critical role in driving process yield improvement and ensuring the quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze yield data for high-volume products, identifying areas for improvement and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain statistical process control (SPC) charts and other analytical tools to track and optimize process performance.
  • Collaborate with foundry operations to resolve yield excursions and implement process improvements.
  • Support the development and implementation of yield improvement projects, including data analysis, process development, and testing.
  • Provide daily reports and updates to management on yield performance and progress towards improvement goals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with statistical data processing, problem-solving methodologies, and yield management tools such as PDF Exensio, GA, JMP, and Minitab.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with writing code/script in R and/or Python is a plus.
