Automotive Technician Summary

We are in search of a reliable, skilled, and detail-oriented automotive technician to enhance our dedicated workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular maintenance on vehicles and machinery
  • Examine equipment for defective components
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems
  • Develop a comprehensive repair strategy for all identified issues
  • Adhere to established checklists and procedures during repair tasks
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and work area
  • Ensure a safe and orderly work environment
  • Document and manage all maintenance records and data
  • Keep all machinery in optimal operating condition
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team atmosphere
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations and guidelines

Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent certification
  • Preferred: Associate's degree or certification from a vocational/trade school
  • ASE certification is highly regarded
  • Demonstrated mechanical proficiency and basic mathematical abilities
  • Familiarity with standard mechanic's tools and diagnostic equipment
  • Capacity to work in physically demanding conditions and lift weights up to 50 pounds
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in computer usage
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Clear and effective communication abilities
  • Efficient and productive work ethic
