Job Title: Bankruptcy Claims Processor

At World Finance, we are seeking a highly skilled Bankruptcy Claims Processor to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in processing bankruptcy claims and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process bankruptcy claims and notifications from the court and branches, modifying loan records as necessary.
  • Verify account information and documents, and electronically file claims in compliance with district administrative rules.
  • Process reaffirmations, trustee refunds, and other items, reviewing accounts and court records to determine values.
  • Respond to branch messages and calls, requesting missing paperwork and information.
  • Work with other team members to process bankruptcy work in a timely and accurate manner, following special instructions as needed.
  • Collaborate with management to document procedures and train other team members on new and existing processes.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two or more years of customer service and data entry experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
  • Proficiency in computer software applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to learn in-house applications quickly.
  • Detail-oriented and able to catch errors before they go out.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple competing tasks and demands.
