Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Commercial Steel Erection, Inc. as a Steel Erection Assistant. This role involves performing a variety of semiskilled manual tasks in construction, maintenance, and repair activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in building, construction, maintenance, and repair operations using various materials, equipment, and hand, pneumatic, and power tools.
  • Clean and sharpen tools; make minor repairs and adjustments to power driven equipment; sweep and clean, etc.
  • Pick up and deliver materials and help make measurements.
  • Work as directed and follow safety protocols.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Valid driver's license.
