Physical Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our RNs in delivering high-quality services.
The ideal candidate will have certification as a CNA, PCT, MA, EMT, or commensurate experience, as well as previous experience as an ESA/PCA. Bi-lingual skills and knowledge of medical terminology are also highly valued.
Responsibilities- Support RNs with clinical tasks, including glucometry, EKGs, and vital signs.
- Respond to patient and family needs, taking a proactive role in the efficient operation of the unit.
- Certification as a CNA, PCT, MA, EMT, or commensurate experience required.
- Previous ESA/PCA experience required.
- Nursing student with completed fundamentals of nursing with a clinical component (clinical rotation or simulation lab) preferred.
- Bi-lingual skills preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) or the Red Cross required upon hire.
