Physical Therapy Assistant

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in Everett, Massachusetts.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to support our healthcare team in providing high-quality patient care. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our Physical Therapists to deliver evidence-based care and promote optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Support Physical Therapists with clinical tasks, including glucometry, EKGs, and vital signs.
- Respond to patient and family needs, taking a proactive role in the efficient operation of the unit.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Certification as a CNA, PCT, MA, EMT, or commensurate experience required.
- Previous experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant or in a related healthcare role.
- Nursing student with completed fundamentals of nursing and clinical component preferred.
- Bi-lingual skills a plus.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic life support (BLS) or CPR certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) or the Red Cross required.
