Physical Therapy Assistant

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in Everett, Massachusetts.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to support our team in providing high-quality patient care. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our physical therapists to assist with patient evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions to promote patient recovery and independence.
Responsibilities:- Assist physical therapists with patient evaluations, including taking vital signs, conducting range of motion assessments, and documenting patient information.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physical therapists, including exercises, stretches, and other interventions to promote patient recovery and independence.
- Provide patient education on proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and other topics related to physical therapy.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, preparing patient charts, and maintaining accurate records.
- Certification as a CNA, PCT, MA, EMT, or commensurate experience required.
- Previous experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant or in a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
