Heat Treatment Specialist

Job Summary:
The Heat Treat Technician is responsible for performing electrical heat treatment for various components in the refining, petrochemical, power, and construction industries. This role involves heating materials to extreme temperatures to achieve desired results such as hardening or softening.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to safety standards and practices.
- Perform duties as assigned and adhere to TEAM's Core Values.
- Gather materials required for work orders and set up machines for processing.
- Assist with necessary adjustments and remove scraps from machines.
- Conduct job walks with certified technicians and communicate requirements.
- Interface with clients and co-workers.
- Ensure jobs are completed in a timely manner and according to schedule.
- Instruct assistants in equipment setup and tear-down, perform routine maintenance tasks, and calibrate equipment.
- Complete proper documentation and reports of services provided.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in the relevant industry preferred.
- Travel requirements: 0% - 50%.
- Field duties require indoor and outdoor work in a plant atmosphere and tolerance for climate changes.
- Interaction with other crew employees, supervisors, and client personnel.
- Working in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise.
- Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department.
- Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds.
- Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties.
- Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities to communicate effectively.
- Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
