Job Title: Critical Care Nurse Specialist
Salary: $1,919.83 per week
This position offers a unique opportunity to work as a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse in a high-acuity setting. As a critical care nurse specialist, you will be responsible for assessing, monitoring, and managing critically ill patients with cardiovascular conditions.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of recent experience in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) nursing environment. Strong communication and adaptability skills are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients with cardiovascular conditions
- Assess patients' cardiovascular status, monitor cardiac rhythms, and administer medications as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for optimal patient outcomes
- Perform advanced cardiac monitoring and interventions, including hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
- Educate patients and their families on cardiovascular health, treatment options, and post-discharge care strategies to promote recovery and prevent complications
