The Talent Acquisition Specialist will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.
*This position is fully onsite in Pewaukee, WI*
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Confers with management and supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills.
- Assists in developing recruitment programs, budgets, and collateral to attract applicants and to fill specific job openings.
- Create and maintain talent resource pipelines and sourcing to provide a steady supply of top tier talent to the organization.
- Include diversity through pipeline, sourcing, and relationship management.
- Reviews applications and interviews applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements, and to provide information about the organization and position.
- Coordinates and participates in job fairs.
- Develops and maintains contacts with schools, alumni groups, and other public organizations to find and attract applicants. This may include making public presentations at these organizations.
- Utilizes Internet online recruiting sources to proactively identify and recruit candidates.
- Assists in writing job descriptions and reviewing job descriptions written by others that can be used in external and internal job postings or advertisements.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
Preferred Qualifications
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Preferred Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, communications, or related field
- 3-5 years of previous full cycle recruitment experience in manufacturing
