We're seeking a skilled PACU Nurse to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality care with compassion and dignity.
Job Summary
We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced PACU Nurse to join our team. As a PACU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective nursing care to patients postoperatively. You will work closely with our surgical team to ensure that patients receive the best possible care and support during their recovery.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patient care areas and ensure necessary equipment and supplies are provided
- Monitor patients according to policy, including vital signs, temperature, and cardiac function
- Exhibit proper technique for insertion, maintenance, and removal of IV catheters and saline locks
- Perform and document head-to-toe evaluations of patients using an approved scoring system
- Check dressings and/or operative sites of patients and report abnormalities to the surgeon
- Provide a safe and comforting environment for patients and their families
- Ensure patients meet discharge criteria
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma or Higher degree in Nursing Required
- 1+ years of nursing experience in a clinical setting, preferably in PACU, ICU, or Surgery
- Active RN license as required by state of employment
- BCLS Certification upon employment
- ACLS required within 30 days of hire
- PALS if required by facility within 30 days of hire

Our center is fully certified and licensed by AAAHC, the state of Texas, and Federal Medicare program. We perform over 160 laparoscopic gynecological surgeries a month.
