We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Support Specialist to join our team at our Quincy, IL location. This is a Monday through Friday in-office role, 7 AM to 4 PM.
This position will coordinate efforts with sales, production, trucking, warehouse, inventory management, formulations, and quality assurance to meet customer needs and expectations. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing exceptional customer service, including order taking, order entry, and processing, as well as handling initial customer complaints and product returns.
- Coordinating with the sales team to execute, facilitate, research, and organize sales needs and requests.
- Facilitating communication between the Formulations department and customers regarding changes to existing formulas and setting up new formulas for new/existing customers.
- Working closely with production facilities to coordinate production, logistics, availability, and communicating as necessary to customers, sales, and other stakeholders.
- Monitoring customer orders to predict market trends and communicate information to purchasing, pricing, and sales teams.
Requirements for this position include:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required. One or more years of experience in Customer Service and/or Sales Support.
- Superior verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workloads.
- Strong computer skills, preferably with Microsoft Office applications.
- Extensive keyboard and telephone use, sitting for extended periods of time.
