POSITION TITLE: Chapters and Marketing Coordinator
REPORTS TO: Chief Marketing & Membership Officer
GENERAL SUMMARY: The Chapters and Marketing Coordinator plays a pivotal role in facilitating, organizing, and directing various marketing initiatives and communication strategies aimed at enhancing key performance indicators.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:
Marketing Assistance
Contributing to the digital marketing strategies of the organization, including independent oversight of projects and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities encompass the management of marketing and website enhancements.
Supervising the development and design of both print and digital promotional materials.
Chapters Management
Overseeing the administration and promotion of chapters and affiliated groups. Maintain a membership database, implement website modifications, and lead efforts in membership acquisition and retention.
Deliver timely assistance to chapter members and the management team.
Administrative Support
This role requires a high level of executive and administrative assistance. Adhere to established protocols and maintain both physical and digital filing systems.
Provide exceptional member service by responding promptly to inquiries received on the same day. Direct member questions to the appropriate personnel when necessary.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess:
- Proven ability to work autonomously within set deadlines
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities and tasks to address ongoing and emerging requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication capabilities
- Ability to produce precise and high-quality deliverables
- Experience in an association or nonprofit environment
- Proficiency in project and task management
- Problem-solving skills, persistence, creativity, and receptiveness to feedback
- Excellent customer service skills with experience in daily client support
- Familiarity with databases and data management systems
- Quick adaptability to new technologies
- Flexibility to adjust focus as project needs evolve
- Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate needs, consistently proactive and resourceful, and seek ways to provide support upon completion of assigned tasks.
