Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist Lead to join our team at OhioHealth. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for overseeing the pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases of patient testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the development and implementation of laboratory policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and train laboratory staff to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
  • Perform routine and complex chemical and biological analysis of blood, tissue, body fluids, and excretions of patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely test results.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field.
  • NAACLS certification or equivalent.
  • Minimum two years of laboratory experience.
  • Certification or eligibility for certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or equivalent.
