About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist-Lead to join our team at OhioHealth. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality patient care through accurate and timely testing results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases of patient testing, including specimen processing, collection, and handling, as well as test analysis and reporting.
  • Perform routine and complex chemical and biological analysis of blood, tissue, body fluids, and excretions of patients, applying principles of human growth and development according to established laboratory guidelines.
  • Integrate, correlate, or evaluate data obtained for the purpose of determining the validity of results as related to patients and standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related field.
  • Certification of training from an accredited medical technology program recognized by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Science (NAACLS) or equivalent.
  • Certified or certification eligible by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or equivalent.
  • Two years of laboratory experience.
