Job Overview:The Transportation Operations Director at Noble Casing Inc is responsible for leading the company's logistics operations in the Bakken region. This role involves managing a team of drivers, dispatchers, and support staff to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials.
Responsibilities:- Lead and manage all transportation operations within the district to meet business goals.
- Ensure the optimization of routing, fleet management, and resource allocation.
- Monitor key performance metrics (KPIs) to identify operational improvements.
- Develop and implement safety protocols, training programs, and ensure adherence to company-wide safety standards.
- Supervise and mentor a team of drivers, dispatchers, and support staff to ensure high performance and morale.
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or trucking industry, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role.
- Prior experience managing operations in the oil and gas sector, particularly in the Bakken region, is a strong plus.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of trucking regulations (FMCSA, DOT), safety standards, and industry best practices.
