Plains All American is a leading transportation and midstream provider specializing in solutions for crude oil and natural gas liquids (NGLs). With an extensive network of pipeline transportation, terminalling, storage, and gathering assets across the United States and Canada, Plains handles over 6 million barrels per day of crude oil and NGL in its Transportation segment.
Salary Details
The estimated annual wage range for this position is $85,000 - $135,000, with higher wages possible in certain areas. Additionally, drivers may earn up to $1,667 monthly performance bonus potential and a $6,000 sign-on bonus.
Job Description
As a CDL Oil Tanker Driver for Plains, you will operate crude oil transport trucks, ensuring safe loading and unloading while adhering to DOT and FMCSA regulations. Key responsibilities include monitoring vehicles, conducting oil tests, maintaining operational records, and complying with federal, state, and local regulations. You will also work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2 years truck driving experience
- 2 years tanker transport experience preferred
- Crude oil hauling experience credited to enhanced starting pay
- CDL License with hazmat and tanker endorsements required
