Responsibilities:

">
  • Transport heavy equipment and machinery vital to our oil field operations using winch and flatbed trucks.
  • Secure all loads according to company guidelines and DOT regulations to ensure safe transport of materials and equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on winch trucks and associated equipment to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
  • Navigate rural and rough road conditions safely and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with site managers and other logistic team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of equipment.
  • Maintain logs of vehicle inspections, maintenance, and cargo details in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Respond to varying weather conditions, adapting driving techniques and routes as necessary.
  • Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from Dispatcher/Supervisor.
  • Reads and interprets instructions and documentation and plans work activities
  • Prepares receipts/paperwork for load picked up.
  • Maintains truck log, according to state and federal regulations.
  • Loads and unloads truck.
  • Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
  • Performs emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, tire chains, and spark plugs.
  • Positions blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo during transit.
  • Operates company vehicles with capacity of up to 105,500 pounds to move materials, tools, and equipment to and from work locations in support of construction and maintenance activities and/or deliver operating materials and supplies from one location to another.
  • Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment, and assists during the operation of equipment at job site.
  • Able to accommodate a flexible work schedule, long workdays, and/or irregular work hours, be on-call with short notice and exposed to extreme weather conditions.

Education and Experience:

An individual should have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:

An individual should be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills:

An individual should be able to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability:

An individual should be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Compensation:

">

The estimated salary for this position is $32-$33 per hour based on the market rate and requirements of the job.
