About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Field Engineer to join our team at Carrier. As a key member of our field commissioning team, you will play a crucial role in the successful deployment of our building automation systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate, install, troubleshoot, and optimize customer systems utilizing advanced Direct Digital Control technology.
  • Serve as the local contact for technical issues and provide effective solutions for complex system problems.
  • Provide turnkey project delivery on medium to large projects, ensuring that systems operate properly and meet customer expectations.
  • Load software, configure trends, alarms, and reports, and implement time management strategies to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate and document the status and details of the project for the customer, and provide site-specific training to owners/operators on the complete system.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in Building Automation, HVAC, or a related technical field.
  • Valid and current Driver's License and ability to be insurable by the company's insurance.
  • Proficient with advanced building automation software and able to navigate and integrate into a variety of building automation systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
