About the Role

Savvas Learning Company is seeking a highly skilled Per Diem Education Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our professional services team, you will play a critical role in supporting the implementation of our educational programs in schools and districts across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality professional development and technical assistance to schools and districts, focusing on effective instructional strategies and best practices.
  • Provide coaching and support to teachers and school leaders, helping them to implement our educational programs and achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with our sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities for growth and development, and to develop strategies for expanding our reach and impact.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in education, and apply this knowledge to inform our professional development and technical assistance services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a classroom teacher, with a strong background in literacy education.
  • Proven track record of success in coaching and supporting teachers and school leaders, with a focus on instructional improvement and student achievement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including teachers, school leaders, and district administrators.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data, and to develop and implement effective solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with diverse student populations, including English language learners and students with disabilities.
  • Knowledge of standards-based reform and curriculum design, with a focus on literacy education.
  • Experience with instructional technology, including digital tools and platforms.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and manage teams, and to develop and implement effective strategies for growth and development.
