As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our Design & Engineering team, contributing to various projects that aim to improve public infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in project design and permitting processes, ensuring effective construction coordination and communication.
  • Design and develop systems for water transmission, distribution, pumping stations, sanitary sewer conveyance, storm drainage, and water treatment.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing engineering plans, specifications, legal documents, and proposals.
  • Participate in meetings with clients, government agencies, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Conduct site visits for data collection and project assessments as necessary.
  • Act as a liaison between various stakeholders, including private engineers, developers, and public agency representatives.
  • Oversee the work of sub-consultants, ensuring adherence to established standards and procedures.
  • Coordinate with state and local agencies for project approvals and construction activities.
  • Support the administration of grant funding applications and encroachment permits.
  • Contribute to the preparation of marketing documents and proposals.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of engineering experience.
  • Strong understanding of design projects and the ability to coordinate detailed engineering tasks, including PS&E activities.
  • Experience with hydraulic modeling software (e.g., EPA SWMM, Innovyze ICM).
  • Engineer In Training (E.I.T.) Certificate is required; Professional Engineering (P.E.) License is preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3-D, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
