Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Billing and Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our team at Copenbarger & Copenbarger. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for assisting with financial record-keeping, including aged accounts payable/receivable, collections, data entry, and reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and input billing data for monthly invoices to clients
  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
  • Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
  • Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements
  • Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
  • Enter key financial transaction data into the database daily
  • Provide assistance and support to company personnel
  • Research, track, and resolve accounting or documentation discrepancies
  • Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
  • Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws
  • Stay updated on relevant job knowledge and trends

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of Billing and Accounting experience
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
  • Competency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software (QuickBooks Online)
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail
  • Aptitude for working with numbers
  • Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks
  • Proficient data entry and word processing skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • High school degree required; Associate's degree or relevant certification is a plus
