We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Renewal Specialist to join our team at HomeServices Insurance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing client renewals, identifying potential issues, and providing expert advice to ensure seamless policy transitions.
Key Responsibilities- Renewal Review: Conduct thorough reviews of client renewals to identify potential premium increases, gaps in coverage, and coverage errors or omissions.
- Client Advisory: Provide expert advice to clients on insurance coverages and risk management issues, identifying additional insurance needs and potential areas for improvement.
- Policy Requoting: Requote client policies as needed, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is entered into our agency management system.
- Carrier Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on carriers' policies, packages, coverages, discounts, and underwriting guidelines to provide informed advice to clients.
- Reporting: Report any potential or actual errors and omissions claims and/or Department of Insurance complaints to our VP, Insurance Operations and CEO.
- Meet all performance and behavior expectations outlined in our company performance appraisal form or communicated by management.
- Perform responsibilities as directed, achieving desired results within expected time frames and with a high degree of quality and professionalism.
- Establish and maintain positive and productive work relationships with all staff, customers, and business partners.
- Demonstrate the behavioral and technical competencies necessary to effectively complete job responsibilities, taking personal initiative for technical and professional development.
- Follow our company HR Policy, the Code of Business Conduct, and all subsidiary and department policies and procedures.
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years in personal lines customer service.
- Working knowledge of insurance agency operations, coverages, rates, markets, and applicable insurance laws/codes.
- Thorough knowledge of all personal lines insurance products.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven automation, time management, and organizational skills.
