About the Role

The University of California, Irvine is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Infant Toddler Center Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our early childhood education program, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and learning practices that promote the cognitive, social, and emotional growth of infants and toddlers.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Work closely with other primary caregivers to ensure continuity of care and provide a seamless transition for children.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in early childhood education and apply this knowledge in daily program planning and decision-making.
  • Mentor and support colleagues in their professional development and provide guidance on best practices in infant and toddler care.
Requirements
  • 6 units of Infant Toddler coursework
  • Current California Child Development Program Teacher Permit
  • Current First Aid/CPR certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in a center-based environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • More than 6 units in Infant Toddler coursework
