Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook healthy and delicious meals for residents
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils
  • Monitor and record temperatures in refrigerators and freezers
  • Delegate tasks to Prep Cooks and Dietary Aides
  • Report any issues or problems to the Dietary Manager
  • Comply with state and federal sanitation standards and all other applicable health care and safety standards

Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent; minimum of 1 year of previous experience in food preparation preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
