We are seeking a skilled Transportation Specialist to join our team at Whitsons Culinary Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods and equipment to various locations, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a clean and valid driver's license.
Key Responsibilities- Drive vehicles into position for loading and unloading
- Load and unload products in a safe and neat manner
- Communicate with office staff and customers
- Deliver and unload goods at required sites
- Obtain receipts for goods delivered
- Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain a log of odometer readings
- Responsible for daily cleaning of vehicle
- Adhere to all motor vehicle laws and regulations
- High School diploma required
- Clean, unblemished driver's license required
- ServSafe certification required
- 1 year of driving experience in a professional role
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
The physical demands of this job include sitting, walking, talking, and hearing. The team member must be able to use hands and fingers to feel, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The position may require extended hours, including evenings and weekends, and travel to multiple work sites.
