Job Summary

Bluefors is seeking a skilled Machinist I to join our team in Syracuse, NY. As a Machinist I, you will be responsible for the manufacture of parts using manual machine tools. This is a 2nd shift position, with training occurring during 1st shift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate manual machines to complete work orders
  • Ensure precision is maintained in all machining tasks
  • Inspect parts according to policies and procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Assist with training of Manufacturing Associates as applicable
Requirements
  • High school diploma and one year machining experience
  • Ability to set and use measuring tools
  • Ability to read and understand blue prints (GD&T a plus)
