This role is responsible for leading the asset protection and safety efforts within a Walmart store. The Asset Protection Operations Manager will oversee the implementation of loss prevention strategies, ensure compliance with company policies, and provide guidance on safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loss Prevention: Develop and implement effective loss prevention strategies to minimize shrinkage and protect company assets.
  • Safety Protocols: Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures, and provide guidance on workplace safety practices.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and develop a team of asset protection and safety specialists, providing coaching and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties.
  • Communication: Collaborate with store management and other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of asset protection and safety efforts.
  • Investigations: Conduct investigations into alleged theft, fraud, and other suspicious activities, and provide recommendations for corrective action.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to educate associates on asset protection and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they are performing their duties effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or related field.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in asset protection, loss prevention, or a related field, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of asset protection and safety specialists. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
